24 Hour Pickles

Put sliced cucumber in a quart jar.
Then add the following:

  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 3 cl. crushed garlic
  • Fill jar with cold water, then place 3 bay leaves on top. Put top on, then shake a little to mix.

    Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.
