Gregory S. Scimê, adjunct professor of piano studies at Seton Hall University, has enjoyed a versatile music career as a classical pianist, jazz pianist, church organist and music director, high school choral director, artists' manager in New York City and most recently, as founder/artistic director of Assisi Music Festival in Assisi, Italy.
Professor Gregory Scimé joined the Schwäbischer
Säengerbund in 2011 upon the demise of his good friend and our conductor, Manfred Knoop. Professor Scimé also is the director of music at St. Josephs Church in Maplewood, NJ. In 2006 Professor Scimé was inducted into Knighthood as Sir Gregory by the Knights of Malta, Order of St. John, in Assisi, Italy for the artistic and cultural contributions.
