Gregory S. Scimê, adjunct professor of piano studies at Seton Hall University, has enjoyed a versatile music career as a classical pianist, jazz pianist, church organist and music director, high school choral director, artists' manager in New York City and most recently, as founder/artistic director of Assisi Music Festival in Assisi, Italy.

Professor Scimê has been the director of music at the St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic church since 1978, where he has directed the St. Teresa Choir for Sunday Mass, in numerous television broadcasts, in concert performance at Lincoln Center in NYC and in choir concert tours in New England, Washington DC, Italy and Ireland. In 2006 Professor Scimê was inducted into knighthood as "Sir Gregory" by the Knights of Malta, Order of St. John, in Assisi, Italy for his artistic and cultural contributions.
