Greetings Friends and Visitors!

On behalf of the Schwäbischer Sängerbund members, I would like to welcome you to our updated Web Site. Please click on the Events page to see all the activities at which we sing and make merry.

The fall season has begun with the chorus singing at the German mass in St. Patricks Cathederal on Steuben Day, Sept. 19th 2009. We also attended a Bummelsingen at Lakewood club on Oct 2nd and sang with their excellent chorus, "Alte kameraden" and "Moeve".

The chorus has been invited to sing at the "Fellowship Deaconry" in Liberty Corners on Nov. 1st. Plainfield, Newark Saengerchor, and Carlstadt Choruses will also present Choral selections.

Our 22nd Annual Christmas Concert will be presented at 7:00 PM on December 12th at Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NJ. Tickets are available from our Chairperson, Inge Helling @732-254-7412, or Chorus members and Deutscher Club ,Clark @ 732-574-8600. Prices are $20 advance and $22 at Door. For a good seat, come early since most seats are occupied by 7:00PM.

The chorus welcomes all new singers, but since the average age of the chorus is increasing, singers from the younger generations are needed to continue the traditions from the past 124 years. Please contact the undersigned for more information.
